DISTRIBUTION
Turpentine oil in Vietnam is produced from pine resin collected in pine forests located in the northern region (Quang Ninh, Lang Son) and in the Central and Central Highlands regions (Nghe An, Gia Lai, Kon Tum). The resin is tapped directly from planted or natural pine trees and then distilled to obtain turpentine oil.
HARVESTING
Resin tapping is conducted throughout the year; however, peak production usually occurs from April to October in northern Vietnam and from March to November in the Central and Central Highlands regions.
