Techvina Welcomes Chemistry Students from Hanoi University of Science and Technology for an Industry Visit

Chemistry Students from Hanoi University of Science and Technology Visit Techvina

On January 17, 2025, Techvina was honored to welcome more than 200 Chemistry students from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) for an industry visit and practical learning program.

This activity is part of Techvina’s ongoing initiatives to connect universities with enterprises, helping students gain early exposure to real-world production environments and current trends in applied chemistry and chemical manufacturing.

Practical Learning Experience for Chemistry Students at Techvina

Exploring R&D and Industrial Production in Applied Chemistry

During the program, Chemistry students from HUST had the opportunity to gain firsthand insights into:

  • Research and Development (R&D) processes in applied chemistry

  • Industrial production, quality control (QC), and chemical safety standards

  • How companies transform Vietnam’s abundant agricultural raw materials into high value-added, marketable products for domestic and international markets

Through this hands-on experience, students not only strengthened their technical knowledge but also gained a clearer understanding of career pathways in the chemistry sector, from laboratory research to large-scale production and commercialization.

Young Talent and Future Trends in the Chemistry Sector

Growing Participation of Female Students in Science and Engineering

One notable highlight of the visit was the nearly equal male-to-female ratio (50/50) among participating students. This reflects a positive shift in social perceptions, showing that chemistry and other technical disciplines are increasingly attractive to female students and that gender diversity in science and engineering continues to grow.

Strong Potential of Vietnam’s Technical and Engineering Students

Currently, Hanoi University of Science and Technology has more than 10,000 students enrolled in engineering and technology programs, demonstrating the strong potential of Vietnam’s high-quality scientific and technical workforce. This generation of young talent will play a critical role in driving innovation and sustainable development in the chemical and processing industries.

Techvina’s Commitment to Supporting Chemistry Students

Corporate Social Responsibility in Education and Talent Development

Through industry visits and practical learning programs, Techvina aims to:

  • Support Chemistry students in career orientation and professional development

  • Bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industrial practice

  • Inspire innovation and the application of science to real-world challenges

Techvina believes that early exposure to the business and manufacturing environment enables students to nurture their ideas and transform scientific knowledge into practical value for society and the economy.
